An
exceptionally wet month with nearly twice the monthly
average rainfall. It was a warm month but sunshine
levels were below average. There were just two air
frosts and no snow fell.
The River Otter
just before it meets the sea at Budleigh Salterton. The
river was swollen after much heavy rain during one of the
wettest Februaries on record.
