A little warmer and much wetter than normal with around average sunshine.
It was a strange year in so
many ways but as always, rather interesting weather-wise. It started
a happy one with a beautiful spring and a stunning July but things
took a downturn for the second half of the summer. My father died
suddenly in September and it was a shock to us all and now he has
left a big hole in our lives. He loved Devon and the weather was an
inspiration to him as much as it is to me. Then the year ended with
a lost opportunity. An opportunity to right the wrongs and to try
and tackle one of the biggest issues facing mankind, climate change.
But it was not to be and now things have taken a different, more
sinister turn. |
